Mwalimu Sacco has unveiled a new mobile banking solution to allow teachers and other members to pay for loans via the Mpesa.
The MwalimuHELA application will enable faster and convenient repayment of loans.
This comes at a time when the lender is tapping on tech to improve service delivery, boosting financial services uptake.
“MwalimuHELA is a new and interactive mobile application with enhanced functionalities; you will experience a quicker, easy, and safe banking experience on your mobile,” the lender said in a statement.
Services offered by the app also include deposit and loan accounts, mobile loan eligibility and checking as well as internal fund transfers.
