A secondary school principal from Kirinyaga County has been reported missing.
His Family and friends said he went missing on Tuesday last week and has not been seen since then.
Mr. Sebastian Njiru Gikunju a 56-year-old family man from Kirinyaga went missing on Tuesday after he travelled to Meru County.
Sebastian Njiru is the principal of Olokurto Secondary School in Narok North sub-county.
According to his wife Anne, Njiru told the family he was going to Meru County for the Narok North Sub- County principal conference and has not been reached since.
Anne went on to explain his activities before he left for Meru, saying he passed by their home with another vehicle, claiming his had been in an accident and was at the garage.
“He came with another vehicle and told us his vehicle had an accident and he left it in a garage,” Anne said.
Upon investigations, it was noted that Njiru never left Mwea town.
The Mwea West sub-county police commander Wilson Koskei said they traced Mr. Njiru’s phone which indicated he had been in Mwea till Wednesday when his phone went off.
More investigations have been launched in Mwea, Narok and Meru.
