Roots Party presidential flag bearer George Wajackoyah has said he will fire all Cabinet Secretaries if elected president.
Speaking on Wednesday, June 29 during a televised interview, Wajackoyah stated that, unlike his key competitors, he has not yet conceived a cabinet.
“I am going to change everything within the government including sacking those ministers. They will go home. Including the minister for interior,” Wajackoyah said.
The Roots Party presidential candidate was responding to NTV’s Mark Maasai who asked him whether there will be structural adjustments to how government operates.
Wajackoyah further reiterated that should he be elected president come August 9, his government will have a serious ministry for ‘herb’.
“Gwada Ogot is going to be my minister for herb. The rest I do not know. Look at Ruto he has already come up with his cabinet and none of us common people are there. If you look at Raila, he has taken the same minions,” Wajackoyah said.
