Tiaty Member of Parliament William Kamket has been acquitted by a Nakuru court over incitement to violence charges .
Nakuru Chief Magistrate, Edna Nyaloti said the prosecution had not proved a case against the legislator.
The case was dismissed due to lack of evidence
The prosecution failed to produce witnesses nine months after arresting the MP in July 2021.
Kamket was charged with incitement to Violence in Laikipia which had claimed lives and loss to property.
Through his lawyer Bernard Ng’etich, Kamket said he would file a petition against the State for harassment.
He said he would demand Sh100 million in compensation for psychological and physical distress.
