KANU National Chairman Gideon Moi on Tuesday, May 17 reiterated his support for Azimio la Umoja One Kenya alliance party and its ideologies.
The Baringo Senator, while addressing KANU members urged them to remain committed to backing up the Raila Odinga-led Azimio coalition to guarantee a united Kenya. However, Gideon Moi mentioned that, his party is still engaged in talks with like-minded political outfits.
“I wish to take this opportunity to reassure you individually and collectively that we focused on the unity of all Kenyans as per our party values of peace, love and unity. We are actively engaged in bringing together all our political partners with whom we share ideologies,” Moi wrote.
The KANU boss further said that, they remain committed to the goals and guiding principles of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition and its mission of inclusivity, adding that they will leave no one behind. He then called on his party supporters and members to go out and win together for both their party and country.
This statement from Moi comes after his alleged confidant and fellow One Kenya Alliance (OKA) founding co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka quit the coalition to follow his own path.
