The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has a standard procedure in place for teachers to submit complaints and queries formally and transparently.
This process is designed to improve accountability, ensure proper documentation, and enhance service delivery in the education sector.
Filling the TSC Queries/Complaints Form
All complaints must be recorded on the TSC Queries/Complaints Proforma Form.
Teachers are required to provide personal and employment details, which include the following;
- TSC number
- Full name
- Institution
- Department
- Postal address
- Email and mobile contact
The form also requires clear details on the nature of the complaint or query, the period it occurred, and the specific department responsible.
In the section titled “Brief Analysis of the Complaint,” teachers must provide a factual description of the issue.
This should include the date of occurrence, individuals involved, actions taken, and any supporting documents.
The teacher must sign and date the form to confirm the accuracy of the information provided.
Official Handling and Response Process
After submission, the complaint proceeds to Part II – Action Section, where a TSC officer or institutional administrator reviews the issue.
The officer is responsible for recording the actions taken, providing recommendations, adding remarks, and then signing the form. If the issue is unresolved at this level, it is escalated.

The process continues to Part III – Corporate Communication Office, where the matter is officially recorded and feedback is provided to the teacher.
This office ensures that grievances are acted upon and that responses are properly communicated and documented.
By following the outlined procedure, teachers now have a clear and official channel to raise issues relating to promotions, salaries, transfers, disciplinary actions, workplace disputes, and other employment-related concerns within the TSC structure.
