Azimio La Umoja – One Kenya Coalition Party presidential flag bearer, Raila Odinga has announced that their final rally will be held at Kasarani stadium.
The Nairobi rally scheduled for August 6 will no longer take place at Nyayo stadium.
Moreover, Odinga made the announcement during his tour of Meru County where he revealed his schedule of rallies 14 days to election.
Mr. Odinga stated that they will tour Nakuru on Thursday, Machakos on Friday then proceed to Suswa and Eldoret. Afterwards they will tour
Mombasa before finalizing Azimio Campaigns with the mega rally in Nairobi at Kasarani grounds.
Moreover, Azimio change of venue for their final rally comes after Sports Kenya denied them access to the venue.
Both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza were denied access to carry out their final campaign rallies at Nyayo Stadium because the venue had been booked for a prayer meeting.
However, Kenya Kwanza Coalition still insists that it will hold its final rally there. The outfit claims it had already paid a fee of 1.5 million shillings to Sports Kenya.

In the previous week, the Odinga-Led coalition stated it would hold the final rally at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi. However, they did not provide any proof of having booked the venue.
Additionally, Azimio Campaign Secretariat Press Secretary Dennis Onsarigo made the claim a day after Sports Kenya, issued UDA a regret letter saying the venue was scheduled to host a peace concert despite having signed a contracted hiring the same to UDA on July 12.
“We regret to inform you that due to peace concerts scheduled to take place at both Moi International Sports Centre – Kasarani and Nayo National Stadium between August 5 and 7, the facility will not be available for your use,” Sports Kenya Director General Pius Metto, said in a letter addressed to UDA on Thursday.
