Independent members of parliament will determine who between Azimio and Kenya kwanza coalitions will take control of the key legislative arm of government.
The two sides are now battling for the 12 MPs who were elected on the independent ticket.
Azimio has 162 members against Kenya Kwanza’s 159.
The National Assembly has a total of 349 members
Members elected as Rahim Dawood (Imenti North), Ronald Karauri (Kasarani), Elijah Njoroge (Gatundu North), and Shakeel Shabbir (Kisumu East),
Others are Timothy Toroitich (Marakwet West), Joshua Mwalyo (Masinga), Nebert Muriuki (Mbeere South), Geoffrey Mulanya (Nambale) and Kitilai Ntutu (Narok South).
Woman Representatives elected as independents are Migori’s Fatuma Mohamed, Caroline Ngelechei (Elgeyo-Marakwet), and Monica Muthoni (Lamu).
Mr Karauri and Ms Mohamed had affiliated with Azimio before the polls, while Mr Toroitich, Mr Ntutu and Ms Ngelechei had backed Kenya Kwanza.
Elections were postponed in four constituencies of Rongai, Kacheliba, Pokot South and Kitui Rural

Both coalitions are keen on capturing the National assembly Speaker’s position a position that will be won on numbers
Whichever side manages to convince majority of the independents will have a slim majority in the house
Elections in the remaining four constituencies will also play a key role in determining who controls parliament
