George Wajackoyah of Roots Party and David Mwaure of Agano Party have arrived at the Bomas of Kenya auditorium ahead of the official declaration of presidential results.
The unveiling of Kenya’s fifth president by IEBC is set for Monday, August 15, 3pm.
Moreover, the five-day verification of results forms ended on Monday morning and the 15 verification tables at the Bomas of Kenya were empty.
Furthermore, only a few of the tables were occupied with clerks engaging in low-tone conversation after finishing paperwork.
Likewise, both Azimio and Kenya Kwanza’s seats inside the auditorium were occupied to capacity by 9 am.
Nevertheless, Waihiga Mwaure became the first candidate to concede defeat on Sunday, August 14, whereas Wajackoyah vowed to hold on till the end.

Mwaure reported that even as the tallying process went on, it was clear that his bid had not gained necessary traction to yield him the win.
Furthermore, Mwaure said that the votes so far tallied painted a picture of a William Ruto win and that he was endorsing him for the remaining part of the process.
“I endorse the winning trend and the person of William Ruto as the leading candidate and urge the IEBC to be fervent in declaring his win when it is time to do so,” he said.
