The announcement of the accident was followed by posts and videos on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube as the couple shared their happy moments in their engagements.
The engagement was unique in its way as her fiancé Benito Muriu had to propose with a ‘gashuka’ and not a ring, as is the custom among Akurino community.

“I said yes to the love of my life, it’s the simple things that truly matter,” she expressed herself.
“The fact that he didn’t go for a ring because he knows I don’t wear one as a Mukurino speaks volumes. Not only that, but he also went ahead and proposed with a Gashuka. Something so meaningful and special to our religion,” she further explained.
