Reknown Kenyan actor Khaleed Abdul is without a doubt of the most talented thespians the country has ever produced.
A native of Samburu county, Khaleed did not land his spot by sheer luck but hard work and perseverance.

For starters, Khaleed Abdul had to ditch his career as a livestock trader in Samburu and travel to Nairobi to give his passion a shot.
Since he comes from a humble background, moving from Samburu to Nairobi was not an easy feat as he had to sacrifice to just get bus fare to the city under the son.
Speaking exclusively to The Kenya Times, Khaleed Abdul disclosed he was forced to sell five camels to finance his transport fee and life as he starts out his survival in Nairobi.
Well, after several auditions, the actor landed some roles in a number of local productions, including the popular Classmates which airs on KBC.
It is through Classmates that Khaleed made a name for himself as an established actor thanks to his role that he played perfectly.
Classmates gave him a platform which he used well and in no time, he was being called for other productions, ranging from TV shows to films and even stage plays.
