After completing her three-and-a-half-year contract with Kiss FM, Kamene left the station, denying rumors of being fired and stating there was no need to renew it. Her departure came after her co-host Jalang’o exited the station, prompting her to rethink her media career. However, Jalang’o has always supported Kamene and called her his “small sister.”
During her stint at Kiss FM, Kamene had formed a close relationship with her co-hosts Jalang’o and Oga Obinna, who she credited for playing a significant role in her career at the station. She paid tribute to them during an interview with bloggers after her last breakfast show at Kiss FM, saying that they had been the best and brought a lot of happiness into her life.
It remains unclear which radio station Kamene will join, but her fans eagerly await her to return to the airwaves. Kamene is known for her lively and entertaining persona, and her radio return is sure to be a much-anticipated event in the industry.
