Eric Omondi has once again picked a bone to chew with some stakeholders in the struggling music industry, with music promoters being his victims this time.
The comedian has sensationally claimed promoters are the root cause of problems in the music industry.
Eric Omondi, through an Instagram post he posted on Friday, October 7, disclosed promoters have been killing the music industry slowly by paying foreign acts a lot of money, leaving their own languishing in poverty.
Eric started by demanding the local promoters to now consider hiring local musicians for shows and blacklist foreigners to give Kenyan musicians to make something out of their craft.
The comedian even used threats and promised to sabotage any event that will host foreign acts and not include Kenyan musicians.
He urged the promoters to change their ways and work on a plan to uplift Kenyan musicians.

His warning to promoters was echoed by a number of people who agreed that indeed promoters should stop paying local acts peanuts.
Others, however, bashed Eric Omondi and asked him to stick to comedy and let musician fight for themselves.
