Kenyan whistling sensation Priscilla Wa Imani has whistled her way into an ambassadorial deal. The TikTok sensation, well known for her whistling tendencies is the current brand ambassador for Keshine Investment Company Ltd, a real estate company based in Nakuru County.
According to Keziah Njuguna, Keshine’s director, Priscilla was hired to market the company and help improve the sales. A part of the company statement read “We are glad to name Priscilla Wa Imani as the new face of our Investment Properties on Land industry. Keshine is keen on promoting local talent and job creation.”
Wa Imani, whose real name is Priscila Gakuru says whistling is in her soul and comes out effortlessly. While speaking to Nation Africa, she said “Many would argue that it can only be done under the influence of some substance … My whistling is from sober lungs … sober soul,”

The ambassadorial deal comes barely a week after Priscilla and her husband were flown to Mombasa on a fully paid trip to the prestigious Pride Inn Hotel and she was overjoyed for boarding a plane as it was her first time doing so. It is also through her whistling that she got the attention of Nairobi’s Governor whom she said she’d want to meet because she was in Nairobi. In his response, Sakaja invited her to City Hall, to get the chance to meet him. “Priscilla Wa Imani, unafanya nini Nyamakima? Toka hapo,niko City Hall, kuja City Hall. said the Governor imitating Pricilla’s famous whistle
Priscilla in a recent interview said that her family; husband and three children are incredibly supportive of her newfound hobby.” My husband loves it and that is the confidence you see in my whistle since it is supported by my family. My husband does not see my whistling as kiddish or thuggish. “
The news about her new job elicited mixed reactions among netizens while others were happy for her and wished her week in her new venture, a percentage was unhappy claiming the “system is rigged” and is rewarding “nonsense” yet there are tons of learned and skills professionals who despite their academic excellence are still tarmacking.
