Kenyan TikToker Rish Kamunge has been arrested on allegations of running a fake overseas job agency.
On March 26, 2025, victims of the job scam stormed her office and dragged her to the police station.

Rish runs a travel agency, Trust Pin Verified Agency Limited, that has allegedly defrauded victims of millions of shillings.
Nairobi Central Sub-County Commander Stephen Okal has requested that victims report to the Central Police Station to aid in the investigations.

However, investigations are ongoing, and authorities are urging other potential victims to come forward and give any relevant information.
Rish Kamunge Job Agency
Mary Kamunge, also known as Rish Kamunge, is the founder of the Trust Pin job agency. The agency is situated along Moi Avenue in Nairobi.

The victims of the alleged scam discovered the travel agency through her TikTok videos and social media, attracting many unemployed Kenyans.
Speaking to the media, the victims say each job seeker was required to pay a fee amounting to Ksh 200,000 to the agency.
According to the agency, the fee was to cater for airfare, agency fees and other costs.

Angry Victims
The irate youth have recorded statements at the Central Police Station to aid in the investigations.
The individuals recounted how they arrived in Mauritius only to be told that the hotel they were promised to work in was non-existent, leaving them in a foreign country without assistance.
Victims stormed into her office demanding a refund of hundreds of thousands in Kenyan Shillings from the content creator.
Kamunge’s Lawyer, however, stated that the content creator is willing to reimburse anyone who paid any fee to the agency and did not get the job.
In addition, he stated that Kamunge’s lawyer the situation was a case of misrepresentation against the agency.
