Legendary Kenyan musician Nameless has proven more than once that he is a devoted friend.
It is general knowledge that Nameless and late E-Sir were very close friends.
However, death separated them when E-Sir passed on following a grisly road accident.
Nameless was lucky as he survived the accident but with serious injuries.
Well, E-Sir may have gone to be with the maker, but his legacy has lived on over a decade later.
In line with ensuring his legacy keeps thriving, Nameless recently started a petition to push the government to have one road in South C, Nairobi named after late E-Sir.
This, the celebrated musician made public through a post shared on his social media platforms.
Through his post, Nameless pleaded with Kenyans to help him by signing the petition to have E-Sir’s name on one of South C’s roads.
It is important to note that E-Sir was born and raised in South C, a neighborhood he represented in the best way he knew how.
According to Nameless, naming a road after E-Sir will celebrate his legacy of talent, hard work, passion and humility.
“Hey Fam. We have started a petition to have a road in South C Named after south C finest ESIR….Esir legacy Continues to inspire the younger generation and naming a road after him will celebrate his legacy of talent, hard work, passion, and humility. It will also emphasize the importance of the arts in our culture. Nameless’ initiative impressed many Kenyans who through the comments section of his post confirm they will support his petition.
Of importance to note is the fact that this is not the first time Nameless is fighting for E-Sir’s legacy.
In early 2022, the musician in collaboration with others dropped a memorial song dubbed Bandana Ya E-Sir to celebrate the late rapper.
E-Sir was one of Kenya’s finest talents who moved the masses with his lyrical prowess.
He was loved by many who believed he would have taken Kenyan music to greater heights.
Unfortunately, the rapper passed on in 2003 after being involved in a road accident.
E-Sir, Nameless and a couple of friends were from Nakuru where they had a show, heading back to Nairobi.
