“Seeing this man from Kisii crying for having lost Ksh800,000 to Robert Monda, reminds me of some people approaching us that they can get us the CAS position at Ksh600k,” she said.
Wamae added that she however declined the offer through the guidance of her husband who advised her not to ‘buy a job.’

“Besides for us in business, that is money that can be put to better use. If I could have been a foolish wife I could have been frustrated in the end,” she added.

It was further alleged that he then sent Ksh100,000 to GWASCO’s Managing Director to influence Mokaya’s employment, but this request was rejected.
Wamae made reference to the incident noting that maybe she could have suffered the same fate after she was offered an opportunity to be among the 50 nominees to be selected for the CAS roles by President William Ruto.
The CAS office was created by former President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2018 but the High Court of Kenya later declared the office unconstitutional.
The journey to reinstate the CAS position has been contentious since a subsequent abolition by the Public Service Commission in 2022. The Court also declared the positions unconstitutional.
Stance on CAS Jobs
Meanwhile, the National Assembly through the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC) approved the return of the controversial office, citing it as a necessity for effective governance.

Justina was Prof. George Wajackoyah’s running mate in 2022. Part of the Roots Party’s manifesto was legalizing marijuana, deporting idle Chinese nationals in Kenya, exporting dog meat and snake farming.
In addition, Wajackoyah promised to hang the corrupt, suspend the constitution, shut down the Standard Gauge Railway, move Kenya’s capital to Isiolo, introduce a four-day work week and create eight states.
