A man who allegedly killed is brother has been arrested in Dandora, Nairobi.
According to the area police report, Simon Maina stabbed his brother to death after they had an argument.
The suspect’s wife is said to have witnessed the altercation after which her husband stabbed his brother Stephen Muli.
“There was an altercation at around 16:24 pm in the evening and my husband Simon Maina picked a kitchen knife and stabbed his brother Stephen Muli,” the woman told the police.
Simon was later arrested and upon search, he was found with a bloodstained kitchen knife.
Muli was rushed to Launch Medical Centre, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
His body was transferred to the city mortuary awaiting autopsy.
The suspect will be prosecuted in court after the police are done with the investigations.
Dandora has had previous cases of stabbings in the past.
Earlier this year, a boda-boda rider was stabbed and his motorcycle stolen. His body was found in a local dumpsite in Dandora.
