Police are investigating the cause of death of a University of Nairobi student, who was found dead in her room in Parklands on Sunday.
According to police reports, the body of the student-Teresia Wawira Ndwiga- was discovered in her room with a white substance oozing from her nose.
Wawira was a fourth-year law student, who shared a room with another student who had been away for the weekend.
Wawira’s roommate filed a report with the police, which stated that the room had been locked from the inside when she arrived.
The report further said that upon contacting the guards, they peeped and discovered the naked body lying on the floor.

“We do not know what caused her death, but investigations are ongoing,” Bungei said.
The incident comes two months after a missing female Kenyatta University (KU) student was found dead at her boyfriend’s house in Kahawa Wendani, Kiambu county.
Cases of dead university students have been reported previously in the country, some yet to be solved.
