Embakasi East MP Paul Ogili famously known as Babu Owino has said members of the Azimio La Umoja coalition will continue being a voice to the voiceless despite losing the presidential elections.
Babu on Monday, September 5 stated that the defeat was not final for them.
He further added that in future they will get the victory they have been yearning for.
“I know that we are still hurting but we must soldier on as a family. We will continue being a voice to the voiceless, we will champion for your rights,” Babu said.
Moreover, the legislator was among the Azimio supporters who first sent messages suggesting that their coalition had lost the presidential petition ahead of the verdict.
In his message, Babu said, Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga will forever be his hero despite what he termed as foul play in the litigation process.
“Baba you will forever be my hero. They played you, all was a long con. We live to fight another day,” he tweeted.
Nonetheless, the Supreme Court on Monday upheld William Ruto’s election as the fifth President of Kenya.
While reading the verdict, Chief Justice Martha Koome said Ruto garnered 50 per cent plus one required for one to win the presidency.
Likewise, according to results announced by IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati, Ruto garnered 7,176,141 votes (50.49 per cent).

Whereas, Azimio flagbearer Raila Odinga got 6,942,930 votes, representing (48.85 per cent).
Nevertheless, of the 47 counties, Ruto garnered more than 25 per cent of the votes cast in 39, exceeding the minimum 24 counties required by the Constitution.
On the other hand, Raila achieved 25 per cent of the votes cast in 34 counties.
