The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has requested the court to extend further orders freezing Pastor Ezekiel’s bank accounts.
DCI’s request is based on the ongoing investigations into the controversial pastor, as they are taking longer than expected.
As per the initial directives from the court, the bank accounts freezing orders lapsed on Sunday, and were extended to Monday.

DCI asked for seven more days, to have Safaricom appear in court and explain why they haven’t been complying with orders, which has delayed the investigations into Odero’s bank accounts.
“The applicant cannot complete investigations in the absence of information sought from the 6th respondent -Safaricom” court was told.
Pastor Ezekiel Odero is being investigated over alleged money laundering and economic crimes.
