Muslim leaders want National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) to take action against Education CS George Magoha for religious profiling.
The CS during a press conference made Al Shabaab remarks directed to a female journalist who was covered in hijab.
Moreover, during the press conference, the female reporter posed a question to the Education CS who instead of answering demanded to know where she came from and whether she was representing the Al Shabaab.
Nonetheless, the Muslim Council termed Magoha’s remarks as religious profiling.

They further said the sentiments made by CS Magoha undermine the freedom of religion as enshrined in the constitution.
Likewise, the council urged the Media Council of Kenya (MCK) to follow up on the matter.
Additionally, they want President Uhuru Kenyatta to sack the Education CS for what they term as ‘reckless statements’.
Professor George Magoha made this remarks two week ago during a function in Nairobi where he laid a foundation stone for the second phase of CBC junior classrooms.
