IEBC has gazetted names of three politicians elected as unopposed in the forthcoming August 9 general elections.
The three were gazetted as elected after they lacked opponents in the polls.
Kericho incoming Woman Representative Beatrice Kemei has officially been elected unopposed to represent the county in the National Assembly on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket.
Julius Kimutai will represent Ravine Ward in Baringo as a Member of the County Assembly (MCA) on UDA ticket.
Issa Aden will represent Sabena ward as MCA a National Agenda Party ticket
Kemei was successful on her second attempt to become Kericho county Woman representative after losing to Florence Chepngetich in 2017.
In the UDA nominations, Kemei defeated five other opponents after garnering 87,182 votes.
In 2017 she vied under the Party of Democracy and Reform (PDR).
In 2019 she was anointed Director at the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy (REREC)
The three politicians will now be resting easy as they wait for swearing in date.

In 2017 Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa was also elected unopposed after lacking an opponent.
On Sunday IEBC gazetted names of politicians cleared to run for various seats in the August polls.
The commission also released party lists submitted by political parties with names of potential nominees to the National Assembly, Senate, and county assemblies.
