Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago was on Monday questioned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) in connection with alleged criminal activities.
Mandago was grilled at the Rift Valley Regional DCI headquarters in Nakuru.
Also called in for questioning was Uasin Gishu County Assembly Speaker, David Kiplagat and Cheptiret-Kipchamo Ward MCA Gilbert Tenai.
They were summoned following intelligence reports linking them to actively sponsoring, arming, and training a group of militias at the Agricultural Training Center (ATC) in Eldoret.
Mandago however denied the claims.
