The police have launched a probe into an incident at a lodging in Pangani area, Nairobi, where a woman’s body was found.
The 32-year-old woman, Becky, was found in the lodging on Tuesday afternoon long after she had died.
The attendants were prompted to open the room door which was unlocked after there was no response during clean up checks.
The lodging attendants said she had been with an unknown man whose records had not been captured.
Police who attended the scene said white foam was oozing from the woman’s mouth then.
The body was processed before being moved to the mortuary for autopsy as they investigate the cause of death.

Police in Embu County have launched investigations after a 14-year-old boy allegedly took his own life after being sent home to collect fees.
The boy, Dickson Mwenda, who was a KCPE candidate at Kiriari Primary School in Kigumo village, hanged himself on the house’s rooftop.
According to the area chief Nelson Muturi, the said boy informed his mother why he was home early and proceeded to his room.
The mother raised alarm attracting the attention of neighbors after she found her son dangling from the rooftop of the house.
Reverend Robert Nyaga, who was among the locals who responded to the woman’s distress calls, described the boy as obedient, saying the incident was unfortunate.
“This boy was very obedient, we lack words to express how saddened we are,” he said.
The body of the boy was moved to Embu Level 5 Hospital mortuary pending police investigations.
