Handkerchiefs and holy water seized by the Anti-terror Police Unit (ATPU) from embattled Pastor Ezekiel Odero’s church in Mavueni are to undergo testing at the government chemist.
The Anti-Terror Police Unit raided the Mavueni-based church and confiscated several items despite a court order prohibiting police from bothering the Ezekiel any further.
Pastor Ezekiel’s lawyers Cliff Ombeta and Dunstan Omari reported that the ATPU seized communication gadgets, holy water, handkerchiefs, and computer drives.
Moreover, the lawyers confirmed that the ATPU officers raided the church to investigate and uncover more details in Pastor Ezekiel’s case. According to the embattled man of God’s lawyers, the officers claimed they needed to analyze the items in Nairobi.

Nonetheless, the raid is linked to ongoing investigations on Pastor Ezekiel Odero’s association with the controversial preacher Paul Mackenzi who is in police custody.
Furthermore, Pastor Odero of New International Life Church, Kilifi, has been arrested on April 27, on allegations of being Paul Mackenzie’s accomplice, but was released later on bond.
