The Kenya National Highway Authority (KeNHA) has announced that there will be traffic disruption along the Southern Bypass on Wednesday, February 22.
According to a statement released on Tuesday, February 21, the organization’s boss said the road will be shut from time to time for construction to be carried out.
KeNHA’s Director General Kungu Ndung’u said the road will be repaired for an unspecified period.
“Disruptions will be experienced on the bypass starting February 21 due to planned surface dressing works along the Kikuyu-bound carriageway,” the statement from KeNHA read in part.
Apologizing for any inconvenience caused, KeNHA said traffic marshals have been deployed to ease traffic in the area.

Those heading to Ngong’ can use the main highway, take a detour at Nyayo or Haile Selassie Avenue and proceed to Kenyatta National Hospital where they will offload to Ngong’ Road.
