Tusker over the weekend brought Nairobi to a standstill with the long-awaited Tusker OktoberFest which went down at the Ngong Racecourse.
The event which stretched from the night of Friday, October 28, all the way to Sunday, October 30, was quite a success, putting Kenya back on the map as far as entertainment is concerned.
The Kenya Times understands that OktoberFest was a total success thanks to Kenyans who showed up in large numbers to enjoy great music from local acts, the finest beers, and amazing installations.
According to revelers who lauded the event on social media, there were three stages with a lineup of about 70 Kenyan artists who thrill their fans to the fullest.
Many people online and offline were impressed by the turnout and duly took to different social media platforms to laud the artists for the great entertainment and Kenyans for supporting their own in large numbers.
Well, a throng of Kenyans led by different celebrities used the opportunity to slam comedian Eric Omondi who has always been condemning local acts for sleeping on their job.

Many called him out for remaining mum even after the successful Kenyan-only concert.
A multitude insisted Eric Omondi would have gone ham on social media had the concert flopped but had chosen to go into hiding since it was a success.
The group was led by celebrities such as Khaligraph Jones, Sauti Sol, Nadia Mukami, and DJ Xclusive who vehemently urged Eric Omondi to keep on keeping quiet the way he did following the successful Tusker OktoberFest.

It should be noted Eric Omondi has over the past few months been asking Kenyan musicians to work hard, holding that the local industry is dead, or rather taken over by Naijas and Tanzanians.
According to Eric Omondi, foreigners were taking over because Kenyan artists had failed to entertain their fans the way they should.
