The Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya (PSK) now wants the appointment of the new KEMSA CEO revoked
PSK argues that Terry Kiunge Ramadhani ,the new KEMSA boss lacks the requisite qualifications and has vested interests in the medical supplies’ agency.
PSK has now threatened to seek legal action against KEMSA if it fails to revoke the decision to appoint Kiunge into the position arguing that her appointment to the position is in violation of provisions of the KEMSA Act.

PSK president Louis Machogu said that for the success of the Big Four agenda on Universal Health coverage, the appointment of the CEO of KEMSA should be “purely on merit and not connections.”
On Thursday, the KEMSA board appointed Ms Kiunge, a human resource practitioner to take over from Dr Jonah Manjari as the CEO.
