Police now allege that some of the Cult member’ bodies exhumed from Shakahola farm may have been from Pastor Ezekiel’s church in Mavueni.
According to an affidavit signed by Assistant Superintendent of Police George Muriuki, as seen by The Kenya Times, the bodies might have been transported from Ezekiel’s church to the farm for ‘burials.’
The affidavit further revealed that the church members that died waiting for the pastor’s ‘miracles’, were preserved at a privately run morgue in Kilifi and transported to Shakahola later.
“This information is subject to ongoing investigations,” reads court papers.

Detectives have been investigating claims that Pastor Ezekiel was pulling critically ill followers from hospital wards to his church to perform healing miracles.
Reports indicate that some of the patients could have died from being denied medication because of the preacher’s actions.
Police also claim that 16 deaths have been reported in Kilifi police station between 2022 and 2023 and each has an OB.
Pastor Ezekiel Odero will remain in police custody until Tuesday next week when the court will give a ruling on whether it will allow police to hold him for 30 days.
