President William Ruto has pledged to work with all elected leaders irrespective of their political affiliations.
Dr Ruto, who made his first visit to Nyanza since his inauguration, said he will be a president for all Kenyans and will ensure he delivers on all campaign pledges he made to different regions of the country.
Speaking on Sunday when he joined worshippers at AIC church in Homa Bay town, Dr Ruto assured that no region will be discriminated against in the process of transforming this country.
“This is my commitment. Thank you the people of Homa Bay for the warm reception,” he remarked while promising to work closely with leaders to equally transform all parts of the country.
He maintained he had a deep respect for his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta and Azimio leader Raila Odinga and vowed to bring everyone on board including the elders.
“I will deliver on the agreements I promised during my campaigns when I visited this region. Together with the elected leaders, we will tackle the issues that affect our country and every sector” he said.

Amid cheers, the President said he will budget for incomplete roads, sewerage and water projects.
He vowed to visit the county, an opposition stronghold, next month to commission the construction of 400 houses he promised in his election campaigns among other pledges he made during the signing of a charter that he plans to actualise.
According to the President, the low-cost housing project that will see 5,000 put up is a step towards the creation of job opportunities for the youth in the area under the Kenya Kwanza administration.
He said a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution will also be opened in the county including reviving cotton production through the supply of high-breed seeds.
Dr Ruto, who was hosted by ICT cabinet nominee Eliud Owalo, echoed the same message during a meet-the-people tour.
