Azimio-One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga has decided to end the anti-government protests he has been leading for the past two weeks.
He announced that the demonstrations scheduled for this week have been canceled, but this decision is dependent on William Ruto’s proposal for a bipartisan approach to address the IEBC selection issue.

Raila presented a counteroffer to President William Samoei Ruto, expressing that his party does not accept the results of the presidential election in August 2022 and believes that the country is currently in its worst crisis. He added that if there is no meaningful engagement or response from Ruto to their counteroffer, they are set to resume their protests after one week.
Raila also declared that his party is ready to embrace dialogue to find a solution to the current crisis in Kenya.
