As the general elections near, Deputy President William Ruto’s chief agent in the August 9 polls has claimed that their competitors are planning to reject poll results.
Kithure Kindiki, also dismissed claims that the Kenya Kwanza alliance is planning to rig the polls.
He said Azimio leaders were engaging in trivial and desperate attempts to prepare the ground for rejecting the results.
“The trivial propaganda about the ballot printing tender by our main competitor is a cheap and desperate attempt to prepare the ground for them to reject the results,” Kindiki said in a statement.
He called on the Azimio team to brace for a ‘resounding defeat’ in the August polls.
Additionally, he said not even the outgoing President Uhuru Kenyatta, will be able to help Azimio from losing the election.
“Folks, in 33 days, you will not know what hit you” he stated
Time is up, and sorry, the outgoing President and State Machinery will not save you from the oncoming defeat,”Kindiki said.
Azimio has alleged that Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula, has links to the Greek firm awarded the ballot papers printing tender.
Wetangula has however denied the claims and termed the them as cheap propaganda by their opponents.
