Kenya Kwanza presidential flag bearer William Ruto has told off critics accusing him of having anger management issues.
The deputy president said his rage is nothing compared to the wrath of the voters against his rivals whom he alleged are responsible for the country’s eroding economy.
“They are busy spreading propaganda that Ruto is angry. Do they expect me to be happy after they derailed our development plan? Do they expect me to be happy with the rise in the cost of leaving?” Ruto stated.
While speaking during his campaign rally stop over at Kisii on Thursday, July 14, the UDA presidential candidate told the critics to forget about his anger and wait for that of electorates who currently go to bed hungry.
Moreover, political allies of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition’s presidential candidate Raila Odinga have accused the deputy president of being temperamental and a bully.
Besides, Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa was the first to lay claims that DP Ruto almost slapped him and ordered him to quit.
Likewise, Wamalwa’s remarks came following sustained public discourse on a leaked clip in which the deputy president was recorded telling a delegation of elders from the vote-rich central region that he almost slapped President Kenyatta after the Head of State proposed that he steps down following the nullification of his election for a second term in 2017.
Furthermore, the Defense CS claimed that William Ruto had a history of assaulting his rivals, adding that he hit Former Minister Reuben Chesire outside the late President Daniel arap Moi’s State House office.

“You didn’t start today; anger management is an issue that you have. Even during the Moi regime you assaulted the late Reuben Chesire, my brother in law. When we say what you have said or done because of your anger, Eugene Wamalwa is not insulting you,” Wamalwa added.
Nonetheless, the UDA boss denied the allegations but admitted to have had a heated argument with the late Chesire.
