President William Ruto on Monday presided over the swearing-in of Shadrack Mose as the new Solicitor-General, at State House, Nairobi.
The president nominated Mose to the position last week on Wednesday.
“Let me take this opportunity to congratulate you,” Ruto said.
“I have confidence that you have the requisite experience, understanding and knowledge to support and provide leadership in the office of the Attorney General.”
Ruto expressed his confidence in Mose as the solicitor general, hoping he will provide the necessary legal advice to the government and formulation of various statues that are currently under consideration.
“I have worked with you long enough to know that you are up to the task, and I expect no less than the best from you because I know you are capable,” Ruto added.
“And if I get any less it’s because you have refused not because you don’t have what it takes.”
