After just one year on air, media personality and comedian Oga Obinna has left Kiss FM. Speaking exclusively during an interview, Obinna revealed that his contract with Radio Africa Group had expired, and both parties decided to end their relationship amicably.
Obinna expressed his gratitude to the Radio Africa group for allowing him to work with them for the past year. He explained that his last day at the station was Monday last week, and he had already started doing his clearance at Radio Africa Group before officially exiting the company.

The comedian disclosed that he had achieved everything he had set out to do during his stint with Kiss FM, including driving the car he wanted to move and living in the houses he desired. He also mentioned that he had always wanted to work for Radio Africa Group, and now that he had achieved that dream, he was ready for new challenges.
Obinna also shared his experience working at Kiss FM, noting that the organization’s commitment to its people and talent makes it thrive. He added that he had worked in organizations where employees were not cared for, but he felt different at Kiss FM.
When asked about his plans, Obinna said he was open to new opportunities, and time would tell whether he would return to Kiss FM. He urged people not to speculate about his exit but rather focus on the good times he had shared with the station.
Oga Obinna replaced Jalang’o on Kiss FM after the latter left the radio industry for politics in February last year.
