Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday led a thanksgiving service on behalf of President William Ruto in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu county.
The President, Dr William Samoei Ruto travelled to Uganda to attend their Independence Day celebrations.
The Uasin Gishu governor, Jonathan Bii hosted the service on Sunday October 9.
Leaders present at the Thanksgiving service are the National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wa, Narok Governor Patrick Ntutu, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet among others.
The thanksgiving service was held at Koilel Primary School in the Uasin Gishu County.
President William Ruto and his Deputy Gachagua won the 2022 August elections and have been holding thanksgiving services in different counties to thank God for the victory bestowed upon them.
