Former Cherangany MP Kipruto Arap Kirwa has asked President William Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza outfit to stop rubbing their victory on their opponents.
While speaking during an interview with KTN on Tuesday, January 31, Kirwa stated that Kenya Kwanza won the August 2022 presidential election, adding that they should now accommodate those who lost the election instead of rubbing their victory.
According to Kirwa, the constant reminder that Azimio lost the presidential bid may act as a breeding ground for beef with the opponents.
“We spend a lot of time on elections, and I do hope that Kenya Kwanza from today on will stop saying they won because when you win, you don’t rub it on us. You win, you accommodate those who lost to you. That is the maxim I used for the 20 years as a Member of Parliament.” Kirwa said.

Moreover, Kirwa noted that people will forget about the president and focus on opposition when he keeps talking about them.
“You don’t talk about your opponent every day. People will forget you and focus on your opponent,” he stated.
