Hacker group Anonymous took down key government of Kenya websites over the arrest of activist Mutemi Wa Kiama. Mutemi who was arrested and charged for ‘digital pirating of a book’ but was released after being taken to court. The activist had his house broken into by 7 armed men who failed to address the charges upon arrest.
The hacker group, who have been credited by exposing paedo-sadism among the United States elites, called for the unconditional release and discontinued harassment of activist Mutemi Wa Kiama.

The two key government websites that were taken down include ecitizen.go.ke and president.go.ke. Both sites have now been confirmed to be back up.
