Caren is the Founder and Executive Director of Emerging Leaders Foundation–Africa, a non-profit organization that equips young leaders to become ethical and courageous agents of change. For over two decades, she has mentored young changemakers through mentorship, storytelling, and inner work. She equips individuals and institutions to lead with courage, integrity, and purpose. Her leadership has been recognized globally through awards and fellowships, including Acumen, the Obama Foundation, the Eisenhower Fellowship, and Stanford University’s Fisher Family Fellowship. In 2018, she was recognized by President Barack Obama during the Nelson Mandela Centenary Celebration in South Africa. She has also been named among the Top 100 Most Influential Young Africans and the Top 100 Most Influential African Women. Through her work, Caren is committed to raising leaders who do not pursue power for its own sake, but embrace leadership as a calling rooted in service, dignity, and societal transformation.
