On July 21, Aisha Jumwa was booed by youth in Kilifi after she hinted that she may be reappointed to cabinet. She remarked that President Ruto was aware of her capabilities and could reinstate her.
“President Ruto does not need anyone campaigning for Aisha Jumwa, he knows… and if it pleases him to reappoint me to continue serving in his Cabinet, we will say Amen,” Ms Jumwa said on Sunday during a meet-the-people tour in Kilifi,” she said.
“But if he deems it fit that I should rest, we will also say Amen because the Bible says we should rejoice and be thankful in everything.”
