Kasmuel McOure is a revolutionary Artist, Activist, Mental Health Advocate and aspiring politician.
He is fondly known for his afro hairstyle and for occasionally wearing a three-piece suit.
Besides his physical appearance, his wit, eloquence, and charismatic way of articulating have earned him admiration from Kenyans.
Kasmuel political career
Kasmuel rose to fame during the Gen Z protests that led to the government dropping the Finance Bill 2024 entirely.
He was among those in the front line leading the protests in Nairobi Central Business District (CBD).
Since the protests, Kasmuel has become a household name in Kenya, featuring in numerous media interviews on politics and governance.
However, his approach towards politics and governance has won him admiration and enemies at the same time.
Kasmuel has faced criticism from some Kenyans for associating with leaders perceived to be pro-government, accusing him of being a sellout.
McOure defended his actions, stating the Gen Z movement has been leaderless from the start, so no one should criticize him for meeting political leaders.
He added that he aims to run for a political position in the upcoming 2027 general elections and believes that meeting with elected leaders is crucial for gaining political influence.

On several occasions, the revolutionary artist has shared videos of himself playing musical instruments such as the piano and saxophone on his social media platforms, particularly on TikTok.
He is the leader, founder, and director of Maskani Big Band, which he formed in 2020 with his friend Stephen Mutangili.

Kasmuel is a Technical University of Kenya alumna, with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Financial Management Services.
The revolutionary Artist pursued his degree from 2016 to 2020.
He attended both Alliance High School and Maranda High School, which are national schools, for his high school education.
McOure first attended Alliance High School from Form 1 to Form 3, then joined Maranda High School in Form 3 third term, where he completed his Form 4 studies.

McOure is a champion of mental health awareness besides engaging in political discourse and music.
He has openly discussed experiencing suicidal thoughts in various media interviews, which he later overcame.
Kasmuel attributed these thoughts to childhood trauma.
