The seven-member panel of eminent persons tasked to find a suitable running mate for Raila moves to conclude its work today before submitting their report to the Azimio council.
Today, the Noah Wekesa led panel is expected to interview five candidates
Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Narc Leader Charity Ngilu, Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya, former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth and former Kenyan Ambassador to Australia Stephen Tarus are expected to face the panel today.
Already Muranga Woman Representative Sabina Chege, Narc Kenya Leader Martha Karua, Governors Wycliffe Oparanya and Ali Hassan Joho appeared before the panel on Monday
KANU Party Leader Gideon Moi has opted to withdraw his candidature for the Azimio-One Kenya coalition running mate.
Moi who had been shortlisted to be interviewed yesterday instead decided to back Kalonzo Musyoka’s bid.
Presidential candidates are expected to have named their running mates on or before May 16 as per the IEBC timelines
