The Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) has cleared 46 Kenyans as independent presidential candidates in the August 9 General Election. This has happened notwithstanding fights against these lone rangers by major political parties.
Independent Candidates contesting for presidency in the August 9 polls had until Monday, May 2, to submit clearance from the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties.
Here is a list of the 46 independent candidates set to challenge the party presidential flag-bearers come August 9, 2022.
