Hyper Citizen TV host Willis Raburu and his fiancée Ivy Namu are the newest celebrity couple in town.
The Kenya Times has learnt that Willis and Ivy welcomed a bouncing baby girl on Monday, September 12, afternoon.
The good news was first made public by Raburu himself in a series of Insta-stories updates seen by The Kenya Times.
Judging by Willis Raburu’s updates, it is cleaning both his mother and Ivy’s were present during the delivery.
The TV host shared photos of his fiancée, mother and mother-in-law holding his newly born daughter followed by touching captions.
“My queen gave birth to a queen! My baby girl is here!
I want to thank the Lord for what He has done. There is no way that I can forget what God has done for me. I am in awe. Truly His grace is sufficient.
Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life. I am not worthy but He who sees me has seen it fit. It’s by the grace of God.” Raburu captioned one of the photos.
The celebrated journalist’s post attracted the attention of many Kenyans, specifically his fans who took to different social media platforms to congratulate him and Ivy Namu.
The Kenya Times understands the daughter is the second child the couple shares.
It should be noted that Raburu and Ivy had a son, before welcoming their daughter.
The birth of Willis Raburu’s second child impressed many netizens who could not help but laud him and his new wife for their delivery.
The latest turn of events came barely a month after the TV host disclosed why he had to divorce his first wife, Marya Prude.
As earlier reported by The Kenya Times, Willis Raburu categorically stated that he was forced to file for divorce following the loss of his daughter with Marya Prude.
According to Willis Raburu, their daughter’s death confused him to a state that he could not focus on anything else.
Willis Raburu confirmed he may have moved on from his breakup with Marya Prude but their daughter’s demise never left his head.
Speaking during an interview with Radio Jambo’s Massage Japanni, Willis Raburu said the divorce was the best thing for both his ex-wife Marya and himself.
The 10 Over 10 host maintained that he saw no need for pretending to his ex-wife, yet he was not okay, psychologically, physically, and generally as a human being.
Raburu and Marya’s divorce did not settle down well with a cross section of netizens who wondered why the two parted ways despite their successful romance.

A number were not aware of whatever happened between the two, but Raburu cleared the air with the statement.
While Willis Raburu moved on to the next one with Marya Prude, the latter has never introduced her new man, or rather made it public that she has a new man in her life.
