A public dispute broke out this weekend between Roger Stone and Laura Loomer, two longtime supporters of President Donald Trump.
The conflict started after Loomer criticized the departure of Tulsi Gabbard from the Trump administration. Stone responded with a series of sharp attacks on the social media platform X.
Stone, a Republican operative who received a pardon from Trump after his conviction for lying to Congress, accused Loomer of working for pay and questioned her loyalty. He described her as a “petulant childish imbecile” with a “botox-inflamed mouth.”
The two had maintained a positive relationship for years before this exchange. Stone had publicly praised Loomer in the past. Their argument played out in full public view on May 24, 2026.
Stone levels serious accusations
In further posts, Stone used a vulgar slur against Loomer and said she favored Israeli intelligence over U.S. interests. He wrote that her actions represented disloyalty to Trump and warned that it “will not end well for her.” Stone also demanded that Loomer unblock him on X so they could continue the argument.
Loomer rejected the claims. She called on Stone to provide evidence for his accusations about her ties to Israel or Mossad. Loomer stated that she has posted evidence in her own work, while Stone has not. She noted their past positive relationship, saying Stone had praised her for over 10 years.
The exchange included direct challenges to each other’s motives. Stone suggested Loomer acted for financial gain in her criticism of Gabbard’s exit. Loomer replied that Stone was seeking new payments through his association with Gabbard.

This dispute follows reports of internal tensions within the Trump administration after Gabbard’s resignation as director of national intelligence. Gabbard had served in the role since the start of Trump’s second term. Her departure came amid other reported challenges within the team.
Stone defended Gabbard’s record in his posts. He pointed to her contributions on issues from the Trump era, including past Russia investigations. Loomer’s comments on the departure triggered Stone’s response and the rapid series of posts.
No statements from President Trump or official administration spokespeople addressed the public argument between Stone and Loomer. The feud remained contained to the two individuals and their followers on social media.

Tulsi Gabbard departure at center
Gabbard, who previously served as a Democratic congresswoman from Hawaii, joined the Trump administration in a key national security position. Her exit has drawn varied reactions from Trump supporters. Stone used his defense of Gabbard as part of his criticism of Loomer.
The argument included references to loyalty, past alliances, and possible financial interests on both sides. Loomer accused Stone of shifting positions for new opportunities. Stone accused Loomer of posting content for payment.
The full exchange remained visible on X throughout the weekend. It included multiple posts from each person responding to the other in real time.
This conflict shows divisions among Trump’s supporters after he took office for a second term. Public fights between prominent figures can affect the appearance of unity in the MAGA movement.
