President Donald Trump has responded after Kristi Noem reportedly reacted with distress to revelations about her husband Bryon Noem and his alleged secret online behavior.
According to reports, Bryon had been leading a hidden double life involving cross-dressing and private online interactions, claims that have drawn intense public and political scrutiny.
The Daily Mail published details on March 31, 2026, about Bryon Noem, 56, the husband of former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
The report included photos Bryon Noem sent to fetish porn models online showing him dressed as a woman with fake breasts made from balloons. It also described explicit messages and payments of at least $25,000 sent via Cash App and PayPal.
A spokesperson for Kristi Noem, 54, said the family was blindsided by the report and that she was devastated after 34 years of marriage.
The couple met in high school, married in 1992, and have three children: daughters Kassidy, 31, and Kennedy, 29, and son Booker, 23.

Trump’s Response
President Donald Trump spoke to the Daily Mail by phone on Tuesday and gave his reaction.
“They confirmed it? Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that’s the case, that’s too bad,” Trump said.
“I haven’t seen anything. I don’t know anything about it. That’s too bad, but I just know nothing about it,” he added.
Trump made the comments weeks after he fired Kristi Noem from her position as Secretary of Homeland Security.
The dismissal followed bipartisan criticism of the department’s immigration enforcement and a $220 million advertising campaign that Trump said he did not approve.

Bryon Noem did not deny the conversations or photos when reached by the Daily Mail. He denied that his comments about his wife could have created national security risks.
When asked about reports that Kristi Noem had an affair with Corey Lewandowski, Bryon Noem told one of the models: “I know. There’s nothing I can do about it.”
Noem and Lewandowski have both denied the affair in the past. During sworn testimony in early March, Noem did not deny having sexual relations with Lewandowski when asked by lawmakers.
Kristi Noem now serves as Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas, a role focused on Western Hemisphere security. Lewandowski joined her on a recent trip to Guyana but was not acting in an official government capacity.
