Ugandans Call Out Standard Media
The bold coverage, also dug into the Ugandan opposition leader Kizze Besigye, his wife Winnie Byanyima and Museveni “love triangle”.
Uganda’s Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs, Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi, had earlier called out the Standard newspaper for what he claimed was the publication of fake news, which he said showed blatant disrespect towards our supreme leader, Muhoozi.
“We demand accountability for their actions and suggest a temporary or permanent ban in Uganda and friendly countries, unless they’re willing to rectify their actions,” he said.
