Someone dropped a coffin at the gates of lawyer Morara Kebaso on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
Morara shared a video of the coffin on his X account asking the person who left it to go for it.
The activist stated that he is not afraid of death even after the incident.
He went ahead to ask Kenyans to contact his furniture home for coffins of good quality.
“Whoever dropped this coffin at my gate on Saturday midnight, I just want to let you know that I am not afraid of death threats. Please contact Morara Home Furniture for a better coffin with good finishing,” Morara said.
At the beginning of the video, the coffin is black in colour with the photo of Morara and his wife sticked at the top part of it.
The coffin also has a red ribbon on the top sides.
Coffin Dropped Outside Morara Kebaso’s Workshop
Then, the activist posted another small white coffin containing several items inside which was dropped at his workshop in Utawala.
Morara said he believes in God and asked his opponents to visit his apartments for better quality caskets.

Additionally, he asked his opponents to leave his family out of politics.
Items Inside the Coffin
The coffin also had a photo of Morara, his wife’s photo, a black chicken, slippers, a doll, a toy car, a small ball, and plastic bottles filled with drinks.
On the outside, the casket had the words “Mercy David” and “RIP” written in black, along with some drawings.
There was also a photo of Morara with his wife and a red ribbon on top.
The Kenya Times asked activists why Morara had remained silent since Saturday.
He responded, “I kept quiet because I was investigating.”
