Equity Bank has opened a new branch in Joska, along Kangundo Road in Machakos County. The branch becomes Equity’s 212th branch in Kenya.
The new branch aims to boost economic activity in the area, which is known for the fast-growing real estate market, a thriving business community and the upcoming social and commercial amenities; supermarkets, churches, entertainment joints, petrol stations, hardware stores, schools, and health facilities
In his speech at the opening ceremony, Equity Bank Director SME Banking Collins Wanyonyi emphasized the branch’s will go a long way to provide convenience to the area’s traders and small enterprises and enhance accessibility to banking services.

The new branch manager, David Kande also welcomed the prospective customers and emphasized the bank’s commitment to cater to the customer needs and foster growth. He expressed the bank’s readiness to serve the community and expanding opportunities for wealth creation.

The first customer to be served at the new branch, Henry Kimeo, commended Equity for its support through loans and exceptional customer service.
